Lead Camp WSI- Sportime, East Quogue

SPORTIME Quogue is looking for a Swim Instructor to join our team. Swim Instructors will work directly under the supervision of the Aquatics Director. Swim Instructors at SPORTIME Quogue Summer Camp will be under the direct employment of SPORTIME Quogue.

Location: SPORTIME Quogue. East Quogue, NY

Dates: June 29, 2026- September 4, 2026

Schedule: Monday-Friday from 9:30-3:30pm – optional swim lessons following

Experience: At least 2 years of teaching swimming lessons to children ages 4-12-year-old in both a group and private setting

Pay: $20 – $23/hr depending upon experience

Requirements/Essential Job Role:

• 17+ years of age.
• Must hold a valid WSI certification
• Must attend preseason orientation.
• Implement and teach swimming lessons to groups of children ranging from 4-12 years old.
• Ability to teach in a large group setting.
• Enforce rules and regulations.
• Conduct buddy checks.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and ready to work on a daily basis.
• Available for at least eight out of ten weeks of the summer.
• Must be able to work in a team setting with the rest of the Aquatics staff.
