Lifeguard- Sportime Kings Park

Blue Ocean Aquatics is looking for a certified Lifeguards to join our team. Lifeguards will work directly under the supervision of the Aquatics Director. Lifeguards at Sportime Kings Park will be under the direct employment of Blue Ocean Aquatics.

Location: Sportime Kings Park

Dates: June 27, 2024- August 30, 2024 (No camp on July 4th & July 5th)

Schedule: Varied hours. Lifeguards needed for varied shifts, 9-3:30pm and 11-6pm available

Experience: None needed, but 1 year of Lifeguarding preferred

Pay: $15-17/hr depending upon experience.

Requirements/Essential Job Role:

• 16+ years of age.
• Hold a valid Lifeguard certification, with up to date CPR/AED certification.
• Must attend preseason orientation.
• Supervise up to 50 campers both in and out of the pool.
• Enforce rules and regulations.
• Conduct buddy checks.
• Maintain a clean environment.
• Must be reliable, responsible, and ready to work on a daily basis.
• Available for at least right out of ten weeks of the summer.
• Must be able to work in a team setting with the rest of the Aquatics staff, as well as the Sportime Kings Park staff.
